To celebrate World Fair Trade Day on May 11, three documentaries will be screened in the month of May, including Death by Design on May 28 at 7pm. This film debunks the notion that electronics is a 'clean' industry by revealing the human and environmental cost of electronic gadgets that are designed to die.

This screening will be followed by a discussion moderated by Madrid Development NGO Network with guest speakers Fernando Tucho, Rey Juan Carlos University and “Aire Comunicación” and Alberto Medina, Education Officer at Entreculturas.

Organized by: Madrid Development NGO Network, IDEAS Comercio Justo and La Casa Encendida.

This series is part of the “Barrios por el Comercio Justo” [Neighbourhoods for Fair Trade] campaign, organized by the IDEAS cooperative with the support of Madrid City Council.
